Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, along with his son Anant Ambani and other family members, participated in a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. Present for the occasion on Tuesday were Ambani’s mother-in-law Poonamben Dalal and sister-in-law Mamthaben Dalal.

The Ambani family, representing four generations, came together to partake in this significant spiritual pilgrimage. Joining millions of devotees at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. Mukesh was accompanied by his mother Kokilaben, sons Akash and Anant, and daughters-in-law Shloka and Radhika. His grandchildren Prithvi and Veda, and his sisters Dipti Salgaocar and Nina Kothari.

During the visit, the family attended a Ganga Puja led by Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara. Following the rituals, Mukesh Ambani met with Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj of Parmarth Niketan Ashram. They distributed sweets and life jackets to fellow devotees.
Reliance Industries has been actively supporting pilgrims at the Maha Kumbh through its initiative ‘Teerth Yatri Seva,’ which is dedicated to ensuring the comfort and well-being of visitors attending this grand event, providing assistance to millions as they gather in Prayagraj for what is believed to be a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience.

Earlier in January, Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, visited Prayagraj with his family and referred to the Kumbh Mela as a “blueprint for sustainable civilization,” underscoring its importance beyond merely a religious gathering. He emphasized that the Kumbh Mela embodies India’s true strength, which is anchored in consciousness and service rather than conquest.
Uttar Pradesh has achieved the target of 450 million devotees reaching Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela, 15 days before its conclusion. The Prayagraj administration has chalked out a special traffic plan for Magh Purnima on Wednesday, marking the Kalpvas period’s end, an integral tradition of the Maha Kumbh that began on January 13.
